Our Drum Type Magnetic Separator is fabricated using high grade components that assure outstanding performance even in pressure working conditions. It consists of a stationary permanent magnet, can be of different standard like industry grade Ferrite Magnets or High Power Rare Earth Magnets, which is wrapped in an anti-magnetic made from stainless steel.

Operation

The product flow is diverted in way that it directly falls on to the surface and then flows through the surface of the drum owing to which ferrous matter in the product flow gets attracted to the drum's surface and remain attached to it due to the powerful magnetic force. Thus, non-ferrous product conveniently falls from the side, ferrous metals held against the surface. Use of High Power Rare Earth Magnets that is five time stronger than the ceramic magnets, allows to remove even the minutest particles. Afterward, when the part of the drum having ferrous metal rotates to the opposite side of the product flow, then the magnetic field is minimized due to which the ferrous matter falls and gets accumulated into a container. The result is a pure product suitable for processing. We are able to supply Magnetic Drum Separator on short delivery basis.
